Kanwal Public School is one of the largest primary schools in NSW. It is situated on the Central Coast opposite Wyong Hospital. It is included in the NSW Department of Education Hunter/Central Coast region.
The school has a reputation for providing quality teaching and has a history of achieving above average student learning and behaviour outcomes. It advocates learning throughout the community, and fosters students' potential and talents through a variety of programs.
An active School Council and Parents' and Citizens' Association (P&C) supports children's learning and welfare. Resources (human, physical and financial) are allocated in a planned manner to directly support the relationship between teacher and child in the classroom. They are used to ensure that students have the knowledge, skills and attitudes to meet the challenges of society today and in the future.
