Sporting Achievements

The school enjoys considerable success in sport. Parents enthusiastically contribute to the organisation of swimming, cross-country and athletic carnivals, as well as coaching and assisting with various sports.

School teams regularly compete in soccer, rugby league, touch football, netball, basketball and cricket inter-school knockout competitions. Both boys' and girls' teams are entered where appropriate.

At the local zone level Kanwal Public School is often placed first or second in cross-country, athletics and swimming.

The success of these teams and the sportsmanship and behaviour of students when representing the school are recognised in and valued by the wider community.
